Environmental training of ISO 14000

Types of training include:

1. Raising awareness of the importance of environmental management

This training is applied to senior managers. It is used to gain commitment and alignment to the
importance of environmental organization’s environmental policy

2. Raising general environmental awareness

This training is applied to all employees. It is used to gain commitment to the environmental policy, objectives and targets of the organization and instill a sense of individual responsibility

3. Training in environmental management system requirements

This training is applied to persons with responsibilities in the environmental management system. It is used to instruct on how to meet requirements, conduct procedures, etc.

4. Skills enhancement

This training is applied to employees with environmental responsibilities. It is used to improve performance in areas of the organization, e.g. operations, research and development, and engineering

5. Compliance training

This training is applied to employees whose actions can affect compliance. It is used to achieve compliance with regulatory training requirements and improve compliance with applicable legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes.
