MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET (MSDS). Material safety data sheets (MSDS) specify the:hazards associated with the specific chemical; the precautions necessary for safe use and storage; necessary personal protective equipment; what to do if there is an accident or spillage. These sheets should be available in a language workers can understand and should be provided beside each relevant chemical, wherever the chemical is stored or used.
